SUMMER STUDENT OPPORTUNITY
The Springhill Heritage Centre has openings for two summer students.
Applicants must be entering full-time post-secondary studies in the fall semester immediately following the work term or continuing full-time post-secondary studies following the work term.
The applicant should possess a confident, outgoing personality and enjoy interacting with the public.
Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting visitors to the museum in a cheerful, welcoming, and professional manner
Guide visitors through the museum, providing further information on the sections and displays
Daily cleaning of the museum facilities
Participating in museum-sponsored events
Applicants should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as computer knowledge.
This will be an eleven (11) – week position working thirty-five (35) hours per week
