In addition to the unique ‘hoodoo’ landscape, the park geology records diverse ecology and environments from the late Cretaceous and Paleogene. Researchers and park staff have been uncovering the story of Bryce Canyon through park fossils and geology; this talk will highlight some of the exciting discoveries and ongoing efforts to learn about and protect park fossil resources.
